Rising Film Evaporator
A Rising Film Evaporator (RFE) is a combination of vertical shell & tube heat exchanger and vapour-liquid separator mounted on top. The feed is given at bottom of the heat exchanger and rises in tubes. ( formed by arranging holes of graphite blocks co-axial).

The Graphite dilution unit sulphuric acid of any desired concentration and simultaneously the temperature of dilute acid to desired temperature can be obtained. when the concentrated acid mixed with water, large amounts of heat are released.
