Based on feed/mother liquor composition, Material of construction of column and Packing etc, is selected Distillation systems are designed for the purpose of providing fractionation of contaminated and mixed acid waste solutions to produce higher purity recovered acids, Solvent etc, i.e. water removal, removal of trace impurities and more efficient acid separation.

BIS Packed bed scrubbers- MOCs

Gas absorption, as applied to the control of air pollution, is concerned with the removal of one or more pollutants from a contaminated gas stream by treatment with a liquid. The necessary condition is the solubility of these pollutants in the absorbing liquid. The rate of transfer of the soluble constituents from the gas to the liquid phase is determined by diffusional processes occurring on each side of the gas-liquid interface

The focus of design depends on the regulatory and flue gas contamination scenario. Although wet scrubbers can be effective for particulate and gas removal, their operation introduces a process needing either a sewer or a receiving stream.

Applications: Chlorine and HCI removal/recovery , Ammonia removal, Water soluble VOC scrubbing, SO2 and/or H2S removal.

BISFFA Falling Film Absorber

Efficient gas absorption depends on the following:

In BISFFA Cylindrical block type Falling Film Absorber in which both gas to be absorbed and absorbing liquid flow co-currently downward with the extraction of heat by circulation of cooling water in the shell. The absorbing liquid is circulated through a tank till desired concentration is achieved. Absorption of HCl is an Exothermic reaction so cooler is required in absorption process but in BIS design both absorption and Cooling Takes place in the same BIS block and unit taking care of the exothermic during absorption, thereby achieving max.absorption in a single stroke.
